Best tutors in Malta for kids — recommendations

Hi everyone! My daughter, Lily, is starting secondary school next year and I'm looking for a fantastic tutor to help her with Maths and English. Ideally, someone who can come to our home in St. Paul's Bay. Anyone have recommendations for excellent tutors in the area? What subjects do they specialize in, and what’s their approach like? Reviews would be really helpful - particularly if they have experience with year 8 students. Let's build a great resource for parents in Malta!

Definitely check out Mr. Joseph Borg! He’s been tutoring for over 10 years and specializes in GCSE Maths and English. He's incredibly patient and tailored his methods to suit each student’s needs. I’ve seen his students’ confidence soar. You can find him on Facebook – search ‘Joseph Borg Tutoring’. Rates are competitive too – around €40-€50 per hour. Highly recommend!

My son, Tom, used a tutor through ProHelp for his primary school years. Sarah Miller was amazing with his reading and writing. She’s very creative and made learning fun for him. She also speaks fluent English which was a big plus for our family. I can’t recall exact rates but it was reasonable.
